In a hole in the ground, there lived a…..

Wait, that’s the wrong story. Though I might dream about being a hobbit, I am not. I am, however, an artist who enjoys the smaller things that the world has to offer. Things like snails, mushrooms, acorns, and tiny houses built on top of all of them.

I love painting stories. Stories that take you into a whole different world. A world that isn’t too different from our own, but is filled with wonder. Wander around for a bit and you might find that a frog is wearing a waistcoat. You might say to yourself, “This is a bit like Wonderland, isn’t it?” and you wouldn’t be wrong. I take a lot of inspiration from worlds like Middle Earth and Wonderland.

Outside of painting and being a part time hobbit, I also am a mama to a sweet boy who I can’t wait to show the wonder of the little things to. Maybe that’s why I find them so fascinating.

I studied illustration at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and graduated in 2017 with my BFA in illustration, and I haven’t looked back. Since then, I’ve branched out and began going to various local maker’s markets and similar events. My favorites have been the few Renaissance events I’ve done in the Ocean City, MD area (and I promise it isn’t just because I get to be a hobbit though that is a huge bonus!).

If you are interested in finding out more about the events I attend, check out my events page for more information about where I’ve been and where I’m heading!

If it seems like gremlins may have taken over and maybe some information is missing, be sure to follow me on Instagram for a (usually) updated version of my event schedule!

Well, these snails won’t paint themselves, so I better be on my way. Thanks for the chat and may your journey here be filled with wonder!
